Whirlpool WTW57ESV Top Load Washer

When my old reliable Kenmore washer gave out on us, we went shopping for a replacement. After hours of research in stores and online – at -, we decided on the Whirlpool WTW57ESV Top Load Washer. Some of the pros of this machine include the automatic water level sensor, the many wash settings (there are 32 I think), and the large capacity tub. Cons are the fact that you have to get used to not opening the lid in order for the water sensor to work properly and the noise.

I was won over by the automatic water level sensor and the idea of never having to select the setting for the load size. I was hoping to save water usage with this feature. The trick is that you have to retrain yourself to never open the lid once the cycle has started. If you do, it will default to the largest load setting and fill to the top regardless of the amount of clothes in the tub. This is easier said than done especially with small children who like to open the lid. But once you get used to not opening it, it works great. There are a multitude of different wash settings to fit whatever you are washing, including a hand wash cycle and a double rinse cycle. The tub is large enough that I can wash all my bedding now instead of taking it to a laundromat.

I have to admit I was a bit nervous about this machine because a lot of reviews I read talked about it breaking down frequently and people having problems with the water level sensor going bad. However, I have owned this washer for almost a year and no repair issues yet. The only thing that really disappointed me about this machine is the fact that it was billed as whisper quiet. Its not the noisiest washing machine I have ever heard but I would not consider it whisper quiet. The spin cycle is fairly noisy but its not a huge problem and I wouldnt consider it a deal breaker. It would be nice to be able to override the automatic water level sensor but once again, its not a huge problem and certainly not a deal breaker. Overall, I would rate this unit with 3.5 stars. I would purchase it again and would definitely recommend it to someone shopping for a new washer.

Black & Decker 8-cup programmable coffee maker

I hate to wait for coffee to brew when I first wake up. So, I bought a Black and Decker 8-cup programmable coffee maker for its many advantages over cheaper coffee makers. Such as: I can program the coffee maker to brew the coffee at a certain time, say at least a half hour before I usually get up and then when I do wake up, the coffee is fresh, hot and ready to go. The carafe is designed with a no spill lid so that when I do pour my cup of coffee is does not spill all over the counter or me.

If for some reason, I am up earlier than the usual time, I can bypass the setting and the coffee maker will begin to brew instantly. It is not long before there is enough coffee in the carafe for me to remove it from the machine and pour a cup. This coffee maker stops the flow of coffee instantly until the carafe is replaced on the burner. Again, mo mess. It is a wonderful feature to have in an automatic coffee maker. The double layered carafe keeps the coffee hot. It is easy to clean and maintain.

On a rating of 1 to 5, I would rate my coffee maker at a 5.

LG WM-2301H Front Load Washer

When people hear the LG name, most often think of front loader options. The LG WM-2301H Front Load Washer is a reliable model because it is quiet, cheap, and has great features. Not everyone wants a washing machine that hums and vibrates so loudly that one can’t think or sleep.

Instead, the LG Front Load Washer includes a TrueBalance antivibration system so that limited washing machine noise fills the home. The machine is great because it has nine wash options, five soil levels, and five wash temperatures from which to choose, which ensures that any fabric can be handled by the model. The machine is also energy efficient, which in turn means that people can save money on water and electricity bill.

And of course, saving the environment just by choosing an energy efficient washing machine is a win-win and easy situation.

Keurig Coffeemaker

When choosing a coffee machine I rate my Keurig 5 stars. The machine is simple, fast and  easy to use. Your coffee is ready in under two minutes and you don’t even need to use a filter. Clean up is quick and easy, all you have to do is remove the cup and throw it in the trash. As a busy mother of two these two where deciding factors for me and I will remain faithful to this brand.

hey have a huge selection of flavors to try, including some from your favorite renown coffee shops. But this is not just a coffee maker , with your machine you can make tea and even hot chocolate.

The Keuring however, is for coffee lovers, it probably wont be as useful for those who have coffee once in a blue moon.It retails a bit higher than other machines and the coffee is much more expensive than your regular store bought brand. So if your on a budget you might want to look the other way. Keurig did find a remedy for the latter and came up with the K cup which is an accessory that you can purchase in order to be able to use the ones that come in a bag or tin. But if your a java addict like me a quick jug of coffee on the go is priceles.
